Route 1 - Suffering with a qualifying diagnosed health issue [LA FLEX]

For households where someone [adult or child] is suffering from a severe or long-term ill health issue and their health is adversely affected by living in a cold home. You do not need to be on any income benefits for this route and your salary doesn't matter. These health conditions may fall under one or more of the four umbrella conditions:

• A cardiovascular condition
• A respiratory disease (asthma also qualifies)
• Limited mobility
• Immunosuppression

NOTE: GP Evidence will be required which we apply and pay for at no cost to you

Route 2 - Receiving a qualifying income benefit

Here is list of benefits that make you eligible for energy-efficient home upgrades. If you’re receiving any of these, you could be on your way to a warmer, more energy-efficient home:

EPC Rating & Gas Boilers

1) For all routes, your property must have a EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) of D or below. If you are unsure, we can check for you

2) If you are using mains gas central heating, you must have a 'non-condensing' type gas boiler which are usually over 20+ years old to apply for a grant
